課程概述 |
The contents of the course include fundamentals of vibration, stress wave propagation, fundamental of dynamic soil behavior (laboratory and field tests, stress-strain behavior, pore pressure response, cyclic settlement, cyclic degradation and liquefaction), dynamic earth pressure, and introduction to vibrations of foundations. |

課程目標 |
The objective of this course is to introduce the basic concept of soil behavior and response when subjected to dynamic loadings such as earthquake and machine foundation. The fundamental theories of vibration and wave propagation are introduced. The measurements of dynamic soil properties and dynamic soil behaviors are then discussed. Accordingly, methods for analysis of dynamic geotechnical topics including soil liquefaction and vibrations of foundations are illustrated. |
